McMinnville Tool & Die
McMinnville Tool & Die was established approximately 55 years ago by two toolmakers.
One mold maker trained at Oster, a manufacturer that specializes in consumer
small appliances i.e. mixers, blenders, toasters and the other as a die maker
from Magnetek Inc., an Electrical Motor Manufacturer in McMinnville, Tennessee.
In its' 55 year history it has had three owners and the current owner has
owned the business for approximately 20 years. Initially, the business opened
up as just a Tool & Die shop. It then expanded to include Metal Stamping parts.
Our press sizes range from 5 Ton to 150 Ton, a total of 10 presses. Twenty
years ago when Myers Hand purchased the business he expanded the operation
to include an Injection Molding business. McMinnville Tool & Die price quotes
for supplying molded and stamp parts includes routine tool maintenance cost,
engineering changes or major maintenance is customer's responsibility. We
currently have (11) injection molding presses from 110 Ton to 500 Ton. We
added (3) new NISSEI presses last year, a 400 Ton Electric, 153 Ton Hydraulic
and a 121 Ton Electric.
In 2007 we expanded our product and service base to include offering our customers a choice of having thier tools manufactured in China for low cost. We provide part print with design and our tool shop services, maintains, and performs engineering changes when needed.
Both
our Metal Stamping department and the Injection Molding operation are ISO
9001:2000 certified.
